About the Company

TOIS – Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration was founded in 2016 out of a shared dream by Edna Pereira and Maria Cristina Fernandes: to transform the way occupational therapy was provided in Juiz de Fora, making it more humane, specialized, and accessible to families.
Founded as the city’s first clinic with a structured and exclusive approach to Occupational Therapy, TOIS was created with the purpose of offering genuine care, qualified listening, and real opportunities for development for children and their families. From the start, the clinic was designed to be more than just a therapeutic space—but a safe, well-prepared environment sensitive to the unique needs of each child.
Today, TOIS is recognized not only for its therapeutic results but also for the way it cares: with sensitivity, responsibility, and respect for the stories that come through its doors. More than just a clinic, TOIS is a life project that believes in the potential of every child and in the power of early, structured, and compassionate intervention.
