About the company

Created with the promise of bringing diagnostic independence in laboratory tests to Juiz de Fora, the Côrtes Villela Laboratory was founded in 1928 by Dr. José Candido Côrtes Villela. It didn't take long for this dream to come true, and such was the impact the laboratory had on the city that its inauguration was reported in the local newspaper.
