Designed for short stays, this apartment offers a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a rest area that includes a bed, storage space and a small multifunctional table for support, studies, meals and similar activities. The monochrome design aims to highlight the sculpture by artist Yure Mendes, known for its delicacy, expressiveness and richness of detail.
Yure Mendes
YURE MENDES was born in Barbacena and lives in Juiz de Fora/MG. Graduating in history, he is a self-taught artist and sculptor. His first work was in a metal factory. This was a fundamental period of experimentation to acquire techniques in the challenge of discovering the secrets of the language and handling of metal, the basic element of his creations. His work as a whole expresses versatility in the trinomial of technical purity, three-dimensional sensation and artistic provocation, which can be seen in his portfolio of exhibitions, awards and private projects. With an approach to sacred art, design objects and contemporary sculptures, plurality is a hallmark of my work.
