ORGANIC AND DYNAMIC
With a simple movement of the set of curtains, this unit is transformed and creates new possibilities for occupation, allowing guests to make dynamic and unique arrangements of the furniture. The visual solution was inspired by the work of artist Adriana Lopes. Her ceramic work explores the plasticity and nature of the material. Organic shapes that recall the earth, home and a sense of belonging.

Adriana Lopes
ADRIANA LOPES has a degree in art from UFJF and developed and deepened her ceramics when she was a substitute ceramics teacher at the university where she graduated. From then on, she set up her studio, following this path for over twenty years. She also taught at UFRN in Natal when she lived there. She has worked with various techniques, held exhibitions and taken part in fairs and events such as the Craft Fair, Abup and Gift.
At her current studio in Juiz de Fora, she offers courses and workshops, and has prioritized the development of design pieces, presenting the regional market with new possibilities and a broader vision of ceramics. She also serves the gastronomy market, developing exclusive pieces for restaurants, bistros and cafés.
In 2021, she set up part of her studio in the community of São José dos Lopes, at the foot of the Ibitipoca mountain range, also in Minas Gerais, with the aim of creating an identity and reviving local handicrafts. The project takes place at Casa do Sol, in partnership with other embroidery and basketry projects, and is called Galpão Cerâmica.
