LINHAS DE MINAS was born with the aim of highlighting local handicrafts and traditions and revealing the beauty of the local fauna and flora, as well as the everyday scenes of rural life through embroidery and basketry. But the horizons broadened and theater, music, literature and audiovisuals also became part of the activities.

The strong desire to valorize the artistic traditions of the place and at the same time offer an expansion of repertoire to the community, meant that many other cultural artistic activities became part of this journey.

They occupy the beautiful Casa do Sol mansion, welcoming and reaching out to more and more people and rural territories in the surrounding area, bringing art, culture and new possibilities for children and young people in their lands to expand horizons and blossom vocations and talents.
