LAURA COURY has a degree in Arts and Design from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, the city of her origin, and has had her paths crossed with those of art since she was a child. Involved by the possibility of creation and the search for her own style, Laura has already touched on different points in this universe, such as painting - with works exhibited in the city -, illustration - with magazines and curatorial pieces made up of her work - and, currently, she has found in tattooing her greatest vehicle for human interaction and displaying works on literally living canvases. Following a contemporary-surrealist aesthetic, the artist explores subjective themes focused on the body and feelings, building more than just an image, but a whole trajectory until she reaches the finished work.
