Moinho is hosting an event on Artificial Intelligence featuring renowned and specialized professionals
Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers a range of benefits for businesses, including the automation of repetitive tasks, large-scale data analysis for strategic insights, the personalization of customer experiences, the forecasting of market trends, and the optimization of operational processes. It can also improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive innovation. As a result, companies are under pressure to launch AI projects, but many still lack the direction needed to take the first step.
As a sustainable transformation ecosystem, Moinho is working to become a leader in this field. Given that AI is such a disruptive and highly customizable topic, Moinho will host a series of events to discuss innovation, and the first session will focus on the theme: “Artificial Intelligence: How This Technology Will Impact the Future of Your Company.”
Recognizing the importance of this topic, Moinho invited highly qualified professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence to host an event designed to expand the knowledge and skills of professionals in Juiz de Fora on this subject. The content will be presented by Andrei Graça, Lead Partner for Artificial Intelligence and Data at EY Brazil, and Marcelo Castanha, co-founder of Novaprolink and former VP for Latin America at Thomson Reuters.
Arthur Avelar, manager of the Moinho Innovation Hub, explains why it is important to discuss this topic. “We firmly believe in the power of collaboration and co-creation to boost the efficiency and productivity of companies located in the Juiz de Fora region. That is why the topic of the first Talks no Moinho event, co-hosted with Deode Energia, will be Artificial Intelligence.”
The event will take place on Thursday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Moinho, located at 900 Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek Avenue – Francisco Bernardino. In addition to the presentations, guests will have the opportunity to network extensively.

Each event is co-hosted by a leading local company and features talks by experts in technology and innovation, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Meet the participants:
Marcelo Castanha: Co-founder of Novaprolink, a Brazilian software company acquired by Thomson Reuters, where he became a director and later rose to the position of Vice President for Latin America. He also helped found Relevo Tecnologia, a company focused on developing artificial intelligence systems, and was an Endeavor entrepreneur in the Dubai international cohort.
Andrei Graça:Lead Partner of the Artificial Intelligence practice within EY Brazil’s consulting services division. In the context of emerging technologies, he works with large Fortune 500 companies. He teaches the IT Governance course in the MBA program in Internal Controls and Compliance at Trevisan and UVA.
José Márcio Faier:PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Coppe/UFRJ and founder of Pupx, a startup specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. He has led data science teams at international technology companies, such as Teradata, and managed advanced analytics projects for companies in the financial and oil and gas sectors.
